Complaints procedure added to website - 17th February 2010
Our complaints procedure has been added to the website (see the links above). As ARLA members we are required to put in place a formal complaints procedure and this is detailed on the complaints procedure page.
January 2010
Printer friendly links have been added - 24th January 2010
This means that when you click on the link 'Print this page', the print window opens and you are able to print. Additionally the content that is printed will (mostly) only be relevant text, no links and other web page objects such as the 'sign in' area to the ticket system.
When you print the page, images do not appear. Also, at the top of each printable page will be the text 'Chris Shorey Lettings Ltd. printable page'.
Finally, the text printed will be in a serif font which most printers will be able to print without any trouble.
Google Maps - post code links in our search results - 20th January 2010
We've just added a Google Maps feature whereby clicking on the postcode in the search results opens that location in Google Maps! Cool!
Student house bookings - 11th January 2010
Student viewings are very high at this time of year. Now is a very good time to look for a house or, if you are a landlord why not let us manage your house(s)? Of over 220 student managed properties, 60 are already booked for next academic year. Don't worry though as there are still plenty to choose from, so get in to our office or call us quick to arrange a viewing!

New website live! - 8th January 2010
Our newly designed website is live and up and running. We have designed it such a way that it should be easy to find the information you want, fast to load and viewable on most screens. It should (let's hope changes I make don't mess this bit up!) conform to CSS standards and accessibility. Please let me know if you find anything wrong (via the contact page). Obviously, like most businesses we would like the site to feature high on search engine results pages. I would be happy to chat to anyone who has any ideas (so far so good) or who can let me know how they managed to get to our site :-)
You can see the technical overview of the site, how it was built, what software was used, what thinking went behind the project etc. By all means, send your comments via the contact page as I would be happy to see them. Please be gentle with me though as I am an ex I.T. geek not a current one! Thanks!
