Specialists in student renting for Plymouth

It's no surprise that our main area of expertise is in renting student accommodation in Plymouth.

Since 1981 Chris Shorey Lettings Ltd have specialised in the student accommodation sector. Our number one aim is to first all 'get property rented'. Our success in this endeavour has been fantastic over the last few years. This current year for instance, we managed to book all but a couple of rooms of the 1300 or so we manage. Not a bad percentage we feel and because of that we think this is probably the number one reason why landlords keep using us and why we are growing (and have been growing) steadily, over the last few years.

Professionalism, expertise and efficiency

Success in this area is of course pointless if we are unable to go about our business in a professional, expert and efficient way. Being members of ARLA, first to be approved by Plymouth University and other accolades is simple recognition of these skills. That's not to say we cannot ever make improvements, we do! As we grow, we need to invest more in our staff, training and systems (such as our 'Communication And Repairs System').

Because we have been in this business for over 20 years and specialising in the student accommodation sector in Plymouth, we feel our expertise is second to none. Couple that with our ARLA membership (which has very high standards), our excellent working relationships with Plymouth City Council, Plymouth Univeristy, contractors and tradesmen, we could be forgiven that we think we are the best!

Value for money

We are happy with the way we are growing and are now looking for just a handful of new landlords. Landlords who know they will be getting value for money when they use us as their managing agent.

While we do have a standard fee, this web page is too small a place to discuss this as fees are only a small part of what you the landlord really wants: 1) Property needs to be rented and bringing in revenue and 2) You, the landlord need to be happy with the rental value you are getting.
